Example 01
A Golden Champagne Marquee with an Outstanding Symmetrical Shape. This stone's unusual appearance is similar to Golden Rutile Quartz. Even though the stone is Highly Imperfect, it's the imperfections which create such a Unique Look that is so Rare and Beautiful. While not an "ABC" Mainstream Type of Diamond, it is certainly noteworthy, and undoubtedly has Merit in the Collectible Polished Diamond Category.

Example 02
A Natural Black Elongated Cushion with a Spread Cut. This stone has a Very Shallow Pavilion. Since the essential purpose of a Pavilion is Light Dispersion (which is not a factor for Black Stones), the Overall Size (and Price) of the Stone greatly benefits from the Shallow Pavilion. Even though this is a Very Attractive Stone, most Rough Dealers would pass on such material. Due to its most likely Knotty Internal Structural Configuration, most Cutters would also avoid this Stone. This Diamond, in fact, took many, many months to cut.

Example 04
A small Diamond Shape with Extreme Color Zoning. It is a Beautiful Stone with a Very Spread Cut. This stone falls into the Collectible Polished Diamond Category due to its Unusual Color Zone Banding.
